Corporate Club

The aim of the corporate club is to attract support and backing from the local business community to help the charity raise funds to relieve the suffering of people with leukaemia and related diseases across Devon.

The charity recognises the "two way street" and works with organisations to maximise their corporate identity, as well as building benefits available to members. As the corporate sector is well aware there are numerous benefits for companies of any size that choose to work with a local charity. It can:

  • Create goodwill within the local community
  • Provide a common goal for employees
  • Help a company to fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility targets
  • Offer excellent PR opportunities
  • Demonstrate leadership amongst peers
  • Develop team spirit and the feel-good factor
  • Provide training and assessment opportunities
  • Deliver a test bed for introducing new ways of working
  • Link with the ELF website

What can my organisation do?

Some companies arrange events in aid of the charity; some enter into joint promotions; some enter teams into ELF events and raise funds by direct sponsorship; others participate in the Give As You Earn scheme and often a company will make a simple donation.

Many club members develop employee fundraising within their own organisation, seeking ideas from their employees and building an enthusiastic team to achieve their goals. The benefit is that is endorses the company's total involvement within the local community.
